WHO GOD IS TO US, IS WHO HE WILL BE THROUGH US!

Thank You Jesus, that You rescued me and set me free from my self destruction. Thank You that I am not bound to my past. In Your forgiveness I am made whole and new. May I allow You to use my story to be a bridge to You for others. Thank You, Father, that You have "qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light" (Colossians 1:12)

Without Gods grace...I would be unrecognizable!

Please pray for my friend Carolyn.... A couple of days ago she had a grape size lump come up on her left side. She went to the doctor where they immediatly took a biopsy. She got the dreaded call yesterday... It indeed is cancer. They Fed X'd the slides to M.D. Anderson. We are waiting to hear if it is the same cancer or yet a different one. She called me today and said that a second lump appeared on her abdomen today.

Sooo sooo scarey! She will be heading to Houston next week to have the lumps removed and further assesment of this new discovery. Please please pray for my friends as they walk through this valley of unknown.

She is so amazing! I just love her confidence in the peacefulness she has in our LORD. Thank you, to those of you who have been praying and keeping up with how she is doing. I love you and am thankful for your sweet love.

We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.
Psalm 66:12

The love of God is greater far * Than tongue or pen can ever tell * It goes beyond the highest star * And reaches to the lowest hell * The guilty pair, bowed down with care * God gave His Son to win * His erring child He reconciled * And pardoned from his sin * Could we with ink the ocean fill * And were the skies of parchment made * Were every stalk on earth a quill * And every man a scribe by trade * To write the love of God above * Would drain the ocean dry * Nor could the scroll contain the whole * Though stretched from sky to sky * Oh love of God, how rich and pure! * How measureless and strong! * It shall forevermore endure * The saints' and angels' song

Those are the words to a song called "The Love Of God" by MERCY ME

I just wanted you to read these profound words! Everytime I hear this song, without hesitation, I feel ushered into the presence of God! I hope you can hear it for yourself. It is on their CD "Spoken For"

I especially like the amazing descriptive details! Even more so, the 6th line brings tears to my eyes and chills to my body! How powerful! So many songs talk about Him coming to die...This one reminds us of His victory! He was given to win!!

I feel really compelled to shout Hallelujah, like three times!!! There! I feel so alive!!! (It sounded especially nice echoeing in our bare walled home...for real!) I am thrilled to know that satan has no power over me. May we be filled with confidence that our Savior came...and won!

I hope whoever you are, reading this entry, that you have a dynamic relationship with God. That you have accepted His Son as your Savior! That you know and beieve He won. But if you don't, or haven't please, know that if you need help in any way...I would love to help you. I come from a checkered past, and am here to walk with you, with sincere love, and honesty.

This morning I have been rejoicing! I am so thankful that He has provided for us thus far in the journey. I know that He has never left my side, even when I(we) chose to ditch Him on His beautiful path. Even though He was hurt and disappointed, He was always with us!

What grace, what joy, to know and see first hand the gift of making right our wrongs. It is lovely to experience God when we allow Him the Lordship to do so.

Let's accept the challenge of being a scribe by trade.

I am blessed!

Emily had a friend stay with us this weekend. At one time(I don't know where or why we were in the car...going somewhere) They were in the back seat. Her friend was telling us all about how on Oprah they had really cool stuff, like a dog calling 911 and some other crazy things.

After they giggled a few minutes about the thought of a dog actually calling 911 there was a long pause of silence. Then Emily said.."I thought Oprah was when you sing AHHAAAHHH, as she belted out a high pitch singing medley. Then she said, did the dog sing...on the 911?

Then I started to giggle(to just myself) and after I composed myself I asked Emily if she meant Opera? She said yeah, isn't that what Miranda is talking about? I said no honey, she is talking about a talk show on T.V. where a lady named Oprah has special guests and other things on her show to share with people.

Emily and Miranda giggled some more, and I took the opportunity to laugh out loud myself... since I had to contain it earlier. I didn't want to embarrass Emily. I just love the innocence of children.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Without going into deep personal business, I would love to shout out loud(update you) on my sweet sweet friend Carolyn Shook.

Stanford told her it was in both lungs, and possibly other places. The surgeon said it was inoperable and refused to do the surgery. In fact they told her 20 months or less... So My friend, her husband and both children prepared for what was to come...imminent death.

With the pleas from family and close friends, Carolyn decided to go to M.D. Anderson Cancer center in Houston for a second opinion. Upon arriving to the Center one of the nurses was very concerend with an infection she had along with the cancer. A rare infection, the same one that killed Jim Henson(The Muppets)

They wanted to focus on healing her from that before addressing the inoperable lung cancer. Anyways....a very long emotional story, cut short...(again prsonal) to tell you that she told me three days ago, that after they did surgery and removed 2/3rds of her left lung they told her that she only had cancer in that lung and one lymph node. The next step??? Just 4 Chemo treatments....YEA!!!!!!

What a miracle! Joel and I were able to drive down to Houston last week and see her and Jim. She looked wonderful! She and I got to go for a walk(YES just 5 days after lung surgery)while Joel and Jim caught up on life and all the medical issues. It was fantastic to see them!!!! I love them so very much, and want EVERYONE to know that they have been a tremendous blessing in our all of our family's lives!

I hope this does not discourage you if you or someone you love, is battling a terminal illness, and have not gotten "good news" I pray that the devil will not rob you of the gift of joy and ability to celebrate for others.

You are dear to Him and His plans for all of us are very different. If you are struggling and need someone to pray with you please e-mail me your phone number... I promise I will call and pray with you! kimquile@gmail.com If you live close by I would love to drive over, or meet and pray for you in person.

I pray your heart is filled with a Godly joy and an undeniable passion to enter into His presence. You will truly receive a great and timeless treasure.

Psalm 40:5 Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.
