WHO GOD IS TO US, IS WHO HE WILL BE THROUGH US!

Thank You Jesus, that You rescued me and set me free from my self destruction. Thank You that I am not bound to my past. In Your forgiveness I am made whole and new. May I allow You to use my story to be a bridge to You for others. Thank You, Father, that You have "qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light" (Colossians 1:12)

Without Gods grace...I would be unrecognizable!

Fresh Grace....

Sound exciting, and rejuvinating? It is for me! Today my heart is focused on the story of Moses. How the Lord supplied
fresh grace to him consistantly. The whole story of Moses will encourage you and inspire you, but I just want to focus on his battle with the Amalekites.

Our task is to relinquish our fears and frustrations, problems and perplexities, and trust Him completely. He will give us strength, insight, the right word to speak, and a blessed sense of companionship with Him.

Moses and the people had to learn that all through the wilderness wanderings. And God was faithful! As they pressed on into the wilderness they were forced to trust Him each step of the way. It wasn't long before they were attacked by the Amalekites, who were decendants of Esau, and closely related to the Israelites.

Their fear of losing their grazing lands to the invading tribes made them fierce in their attacks. The Israelites were not prepared for war. The Lord had fought for them at the Red Sea; now they had to learn how to fight with
His help.. He gave Moses the formula. All he had to do was hold his holy rod in the air and Irael's armies would win over Amalek.

The same rod that opened the Red Sea was the Lord's appointed symbol of His presence in battle. But the people were forced to cooperate with the Lord and with one another. He taught them that they must be mutually dependent and supportive for His blessing to be received.

As long as Moses held the rod up high, Israel won, but whenever he rested his arms at his sides, the soldiers of Amalek won. When the battle drew on for along time, Moses was not strong enough to keep the rod uplifted. That's when he realized his dependence not only on God but also on Aaron and Hur.

They would stand next to him, holding his arms up. Joshua would then be able to lead the armies to victory. Moses learned that greatness was being willing to receive strength from others as well as from the Lord.

We were never meant to make it alone. We need one another to win in life's battles. Our ministry to each other requires prayer AND involvment. I could not make it through any day without the knowledge that people through their prayers are holding up my arms in the battle.

Thank you friends for your treasured support! You are a blessing in my life!
Don'y forget..today is a gift from God, don't forget to unwrap it!

In His powerful name and with His precious love, Kim Quile
